City to show off Teen Center on Saturday

Cupertino teens are invited to check out space in the city reserved just for them.

The City of Cupertino is opening the doors to its Teen Center on Jan. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The City says teens can drop by and enjoy some breakfast, play games, and even make some slime as part of this free open house-style event.

According to the City, the center is a free drop-in facility for all Cupertino students in grade 6-12 where they can “study, hangout, meet for club meetings” or participate in the City’s daily activities. The center has a computer lab for homework or gaming, big screen TVs, video game consoles, a foosball table, a pool table, and more

New visitors will need to fill out a registration form along with a parent. While on-site, teens are supervised by trained recreation staff members.

The Teen Center is located at 21111 Stevens Creek Blvd. near the Sports Center and across the street from De Anza College.
