There will be two showings of the Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker on Dec. 16 at 3 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. at Flint Center for the Performing Arts at De Anza College.

Through the Moscow Ballet’s community engagement program, “Musical Wunderkind“, 17-year-old cellist Donghyun Koo will be on stage accompanying Moscow Ballet Principal Ballerina in Saint-Saëns’ iconic “Dying Swan.” Koo is an award-winning cellist and principal of the California Youth Symphony.

In addition, the performance will feature world-class Russian artists and hand-painted sets, bringing holiday cheer to children and adults of all ages.
