The City of Cupertino’s Youth Activity Board is taking application through Veterans Day.
The board is made up of 11 middle and high school students who plan and lead events for youth in Cupertino. The YAB works to boost independence and empowerment for teens in the community. The board is frequently involved with the Cupertino Teen Commission and other groups to brainstorm engaging ideas and activities for local youths.
To become a member of the YAB, interested parties must complete and submit the online application no later than Nov. 11 at 11:59 p.m. The application takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and will be reviewed after submission. A letter of recommendation and video must be included with the application. Candidates will also participate in an in-person interview.
Those who do not submit a completed application will not be considered for membership.
