The South Pacific musical, with music composed by Richard Rodgers and lyrics written by Oscar Hammerstein II, is coming to Cupertino on Saturday, Jan. 20 at the Flint Center, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd.
The Peninsula Symphony and San Francisco theater company 42nd Street Moon have collaborated to bring South Pacific to life in “a grand symphonic and theatrical presentation,” according to the event’s Facebook page. The concert will feature the musical score from the original production and all the original roles will be on stage, recreated by the 42nd Street Moon Broadway cast.
The live event will be on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. and again on Sunday, Jan. 21 at Capuchino High School Theater in San Bruno at 2 p.m.
