Santa Clara County announces COVID-19 vaccine raffles

As part of the ongoing effort to get California residents vaccinated, Santa Clara County is collaborating with the SAP Center, the Golden State Warriors and the City of San Jose to raffle off more than 100 tickets to upcoming events and other prizes to anyone who gets a COVID-19 vaccine at select vaccination sites in the coming weeks.

The raffle will include tickets to see the Golden State Warriors, Harry Styles, the Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber and other well-known artists.

Every Wednesday starting on June 23, different prizes will be given out to 8-10 winners each week. The drawings will take place at 2 p.m. on the County of Santa Clara Public Health Department’s Instagram Live feed (@scc_publichealth). The last raffle will be announced on July 28.

How to enter

Anyone can enter the raffle by getting the COVID-19 vaccine at the following Santa Clara County-run sites: Overfelt High School, the County Fairgrounds Expo Hall, Emmanuel Baptist Church, Valley Specialty Center, Levi’s Stadium (through June 24), Mountain View Community Center, or Gilroy High School. Pop-up clinics are not included in the raffle.

Those who have already received the vaccine can become eligible for the raffle if they bring proof of vaccination and accompany an unvaccinated person to one of the participating clinics.
