State Sen. Becker to Host Water Forum Thursday

This Thursday, May 27 State Senator Josh Becker of California’s 13th Senate District, which comprises most of San Mateo County and the northern part of Santa Clara County, will host a panel Water, Water, Nowhere – Innovation, Resiliency & the Drought. The panel will discuss the current and future outlook for water in our region, the steps being taken to respond to the drought and recent innovations in water technology.

Panelists include:

  • Dr. Newsha Ajami, Director of Urban Water Policy, Stanford’s Water in the West Program
  • Gary Kremen, Vice Chair Board of Directors, Santa Clara Valley Water District
  • Scott Bryan, President, Imagine H2O
  • Felicia Marcus, Former Chair, State Water Resources Control Board, and fellow at Stanford’s Water in the West Program

The panel will take place on the 27th  from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
