Summer Fun in Santa Clara County

Are you looking for fun summer activities for the children in your life? As COVID-19 restrictions have begun to lift in California there are a lot of in-person and online activities being offered in Santa Clara County this summer.

Local recreation departments are offering a variety of enriching summer camps and activities. The programs cater to a variety of interests including culinary, art, dance, music, education, STEM, nature, and sports.

In addition to the local recreation departments, Snapology of Los Gatos is offering summer programs for children ages 4 to 14. Snapology provides interactive, hands-on learning summer camps and workshops. Using LEGO bricks, K’Nex and/or laptop computers, children are able explore age-appropriate robotics, animation, science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) concepts under guided instruction. The highly anticipated LEGOLAND Discovery Bay is now set to open this summer on Monday, June 14 at Great Mall in Milpitas, California. The 31,000-square-feet center dubbed “the ultimate indoor playground” features interactive and educational attraction space geared towards children ages 3–10 and their families.
