With voters receiving their ballots across Santa Clara County this week, voting for the November election is underway.
Against that backdrop, the five candidates vying for two seats on the Cupertino City Council square off again Friday.
The forum, hosted by the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce, runs from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 9. Of note, the Chamber has already made its endorsements in the race.
All five candidates previously shared their ideas at a forum hosted by the League of Women Voters. At that event, they discussed housing, education, COVID-19 relief and recovery, and more.
The five candidates running will appear on one ballot in November. Voters will select their two top choices. The two candidates receiving the most votes will join the five-member council later this year.
Candidates include incumbent-Mayor Steven Scharf, Planning Commission Chair Kitty Moore, Attorney and Community Advocate J.R. Fruen, retired-CUSD trustee Hung Wei, and head of Taiwan West Today USA Charlene Lee.
