Hope Services gears up for fundraising concert with Grammy-nominated artists

Local non-profit group Hope Services is preparing for its major fundraising event of the year, happening online due to COVID-19.

The event will feature Grammy Award-nominated musical performers, Mindi Abair and Shelly Berg. The two will play jazz music for the ‘In Concert with Hope’ themed event set for Saturday, October 3. It is the second year the organization has run an annual fundraising concert.

Hope Services provides a range of services for Bay Area residents with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. The organization says that it serves more than 3,200 individuals each year.

“Hope Services continues to do great things by serving our clients and their families during this difficult time,” said Chip Huggins, President and CEO of Hope Services.

In addition to the concert, attendees are entered into a drawing for a signed Steve Young 49ers jersey.

The concert kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $20, available here.
