After school programs gearing back up

While COVID-19 disrupted many spring and summer plans, the return to a school year schedule is bringing changes.

Santa Clara has opened registration for its after school programs, open to city residents or SCUSD students.

Run by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department, the programs will include four offerings. Each runs Monday to Friday from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. daily. Activities include homework assistance, games, outdoor time, and creative activities.

Programs are split, in part, by age ranges. For more information, click here.

Palo Alto has also opened registration for fall programming, with outdoor classes for 1st-5th grade students.

Registration for residents began in mid-August and is now open for non-residents, at this site.
