Free, pop-up COVID testing this week in San Jose

As COVID-19 continues to spread throughout West Valley communities, testing remains in high demand.

To help expand access to testing, Santa Clara County health officials are offering their pop-up services again this week.

The three sites are all walk-up, without appointment, regardless of whether or not you have symptoms. Immigration status will not be checked.

“The test is easy and painless. All are welcome at our County government test sites,” said Dr. Marty Fenstersheib, the County’s COVID-19 Testing Officer.

According to the county, “testing is especially encouraged for asymptomatic individuals who are at higher risk because they work in frontline settings or because they’ve had significant interaction with members of the public.”

Testing is available at more than 50 locations throughout the county. To see a video tour of a pop-up testing site, click here.
