Workshop to discuss rental and eviction changes during COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a host of changes to rental and eviction policies. A number of those policy updates have been adjusted more than once, making it even harder to keep track.

An upcoming event in Cupertino will examine how rental and eviction policies have shifted during the pandemic. Project Sentinel is hosting the event in partnership with the City of Cupertino. Organizers will take questions and have resources available.

Topics will include how to navigate eviction proceedings, resources for renters, and education on fair housing laws.

Panelists include Emily Hislop – a tenant-landlord attorney, Ryan Reyes – a fair housing attorney, and Monica Wercinski – a mediator.

The workshop is set for Monday, June 22 from 7 to 8 p.m.
