With businesses across Santa Clara County reopening from the novel coronavirus shutdowns, outdoor activities are in high demand.

Shoreline Lake in Mountain View is set to reopen on Monday, June 8, with limited activities including summer camps.

The most-recent county health order allows childcare to reopen, under stringent guidelines. That has some families excited to get back to a semblance of pre-pandemic normalcy. Reopening activities also means Shoreline Lake can bring employees back to work.

Registration is now open for all Summer Camp programs, including Camp Shoreline, paddling, windsurfing, and sailing. Group sizes are strictly limited to twelve students, per the health order.

The celebrated venue is also preparing for phased reopening of outdoor dining and other public activities.
