With the news last week that Santa Clara County health officials are allowing retail operations to partially reopen, several major retail outlets in the region are running curbside pickup systems to connect retailers with customers.
See below for details on a number of major retail outlets, as of May 27.
Westfield Valley Fair
According to their website, Valley Fair is open for curbside pickup, for retail and dining establishments. Customers can shop online or by phone, where the stores will provide instructions on which parking area to utilize. Upon arrival, customers then proceed to that parking area and let their store know they have arrived.
Valley Fair has set up four zones around the mall parking areas for the deliveries. As of May 27, California Pizza Kitchen, Din Tai Fung, Nordstrom, and The Cheesecake Factory all are doing curbside pickup, with special hours. More stores will likely offer the service in coming days and weeks as the county issues further guidance.
Westgate Center
West San Jose’s Westgate Center is open for takeout, delivery, and curbside pickup options as well. Customers should place orders directly with Westgate businesses, drive to the designated pick-up location, and contact the business to confirm arrival.
A number of restaurants and retail outlets are offering curbside pickup at the outlet.
Santana Row
Local marketplace Santana Row is also offering a number of pick-up options for its restaurants and retailers. Given the access for tenants to the street, it has a larger number of retailers and restaurants open than many other large retail outlets.
More than 20 restaurants, many with special hours and deals, and nine retailers are participating. Santana Row has a drive-up lane designated in pick-up zones for getting orders made in advance.
