Khanna holding online town hall Tuesday

U.S. Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA-17) is set to hold another town hall in coming days. At the event, he will discuss the Congressional response to the COVID-19 pandemic and take questions.

It is the continuation of a series of Facebook town halls Khanna has hosted, including four in April. Khanna’s district stretches from Cupertino, through Sunnyvale and Santa Clara to Milpitas and north to Fremont.

The event, set for Tuesday, May 19, runs from 1 to 2 p.m. on the Congressman’s Facebook page. Khanna will answer questions from the live video comments section, and his office is soliciting questions via email in advance. To submit a question in advance, click here.

Residents do not need a Facebook account to watch the event, which Khanna’s office will broadcast live here.

Congress has been busy over the last eight weeks, passing numerous relief measures, including the CARES Act and several other relief packages. The House of Representatives is considering another $3 Trillion relief bill, which would include more direct payments to Americans, late Friday.
