While shelter-at-home orders are creating challenges for connecting with elected leaders, they are getting creative to get the message out.
Following a trio of radio town halls in April, County Supervisor Dave Cortese is set to hold another this week.
The radio town hall is set for Wednesday, May 6. It runs from 6 to 7 p.m. on KCXU 92.7 FM.
To ask questions of Supervisor Cortese, you can call in during his show at 408-634-8086 or text them to 408-480-7833.
KCXU is available in much of the South Bay, including the following neighborhoods: Alviso, North San Jose, Alum Rock, Little Portugal, Japantown, Downtown, Little Italy, The Alameda, Rose Garden, Santana Row, Willow Glen, Little Saigon, Evergreen, and Naglee.
For families not in that coverage area, Cortese is livestreaming the events, available here. A recorded Spanish-language translation is available after the event.
Cortese hosted a town hall with County Executive Dr. Jeff Smith on April 11 on KSJX 1500 AM, and two other events on KCXU in April.
