Cities, school districts launch COVID-19 resource pages

With the number of novel coronavirus cases expanding in Santa Clara County, a number of cities and school districts in the West Valley are launching information websites, providing resources and updates to residents.

Cupertino launched their site this week, which the City’s communication office called an “effort to give residents access to prevention tips, helpful links and important information.”

As of Tuesday, March 3, there were 11 confirmed cases in Santa Clara County, with a number of potentially exposed individuals in quarantine.

While the Centers for Disease Control and the County Health Department websites are the most updated places to check for accurate information, the cities and school districts will likely be an invaluable resource for families trying to understand how the virus may impact their community.
