Plug & Play Tech Center to celebrate International Women’s Day

With the beginning of March comes the kick off for Women’s History Month, a time to highlight and celebrate the contributions of women to our history, culture, and society.

Part of the month’s events include International Women’s Day, March 8 each year. In advance of that celebration, the Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale is hosting a dialogue with women leaders to get their perspectives and to share knowledge with a larger audience.

The discussions, led by women, will discuss industries where women are succeeding, while examining how to “bridge the gap of women in tech and influence young women to enter a career in STEM.”

Speakers at the event are the following:

  • Keynote by Lisa Carmen Wang, Forbes 30 Under 30, CEO of The Glow, Founder of SheWorx
  • Fireside Chat with Isharna Walsh, Founder & CEO of Coral, and Doreen Wong, Associate in Venture Strategy at Booz Allen Hamilton
  • Panel with Joanna Riley, Founder & CEO of Censia, Aprajita Mathur, Senior Manager at Guardant Health, Meena Sankaran, Founder & CEO of KETOS, Inc., and Malekeh Amini, Founder and CEO of Trayt.io
  • Event Emceed by Davar Ardalan, Founder of IVOW

This event is set for Thursday, March 5, running from 4 to 8 p.m. The Plug and Play Tech Center, 440 North Wolfe Rd. in Sunnyvale, is hosting.
