Schola Cantorum shows to celebrate the American West

Building on successful holiday events, as part of its 56th season, Schola Cantorum is bringing a pair of concerts to the West Valley this weekend.

The renowned choir’s new show, titled ‘Into the West,’ will feature “music from and inspired by the Great American West Coast.” That includes pieces from ‘Goodnight Moon’ and ‘Come to the Woods’ based on John Muir’s writing.

Two shows are scheduled, with tickets $28 per person, per show. Students under age 25 are free.

  • Saturday, February 29 – 7:30 p.m. – First Congregational Church, 1985 Louis Rd. in Palo Alto
  • Sunday, March 1 – 3 p.m. – Los Altos United Methodist Church, 655 Magdalena Ave. in Los Altos
