Aircraft noise roundtable Wednesday in Santa Clara

Communities across the West Valley, and the country, have struggled to understand changes in airplane patterns over recent years, leading folks to engage with elected officials for answers.

Part of the response in our region was the creation of a joint Santa Clara-Santa Cruz Roundtable, which has monthly meetings, to address issues of aircraft noise in the area.

The next meeting for the roundtable, itself a way to “facilitate regional collaboration,” is this Wednesday, February 26. The roundtable has members from cities across the two counties, including from Cupertino, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, Saratoga, Sunnyvale and others.

Wednesday’s meeting runs from 1 to 4 p.m. in Santa Clara City Hall, 1500 Warburton Ave.
