Have you wondered how you, or your children, could get a head start on college while still in high school? Many students are able to earn college credits before graduating high school.
These are the questions organizers of an event in Santa Clara hope to answer next week.
Having college credits can help jumpstart a student’s studies, giving them flexibility in their class schedules or putting them on track to graduate early.
Mission College staff will be on hand at the event, held at Northside Branch Library, 695 Moreland Way, in Santa Clara. They will discuss dual enrollment opportunities, answer questions about their programs, and discuss the application and prerequisites process.
The event is open to students in grades 9-12 only and their parents. It runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
