As a way to bring Valentine’s happiness to other members of the community, Sunnyvale is hosting a service-project event for kids this weekend.
Set for Sunday, February 9, children ages six and up are invited to join in creating Valentines for other young people in the Sunnyvale community who have special needs or disabilities who participate in the Animal Assisted Happiness Program.
The event is a great opportunity to share the value of community service and the spirit of giving.
An adult must accompany any children under age eight.
Sunnyvale Library’s Program Room, 665 W. Olive St., will host this service project. It runs from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
