Cupertino’s McClellan Ranch, site of a range of outdoor and family activities, has a renewed attraction up and running.
The restored Baer Blacksmith shop is bringing experience about the city’s history and heritage to life, while sharing the craft of blacksmithing with new generations.
An on-site forge as well as demonstrations of the skills required for this unique handiwork take place each day the shop is running.
The restored shop was open one Sunday in September, October, and November, and is set to be open Sunday, December 29. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
McClellan Ranch Preserve, 22221 McClellan Rd. in Cupertino, has ample parking.
