The local West Valley non-profit organization Starting Arts is slated to perform its production of ‘Elf’ this weekend, bringing the comedic holiday movie to life on the stage.
This show, which tells the story of Buddy, who mistakenly ends up in Santa’s bag of gifts and is raised at the North Pole before returning to New York City for hilarious misadventures.
Starting Arts, which according to their website provides hands-on arts experience in 4 disciplines (dance, music, theatre and visual arts) in classes taught by skilled professional artists eager to share their expert knowledge and passion with students, is putting on the production with young folks from the region.
Performances are held in Santa Clara High School’s theater, 3000 Benton St., in Santa Clara.
Shows are scheduled for Saturday, December 21 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., and again Sunday, December 22 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
