With tree lightings in Cupertino, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara all getting the holiday season kicked off in their communities, Mountain View is set to light their tree on Monday evening.
Set in the city’s Civic Center Plaza, 500 Castro St., the community tree lighting celebration will feature a wide range of activities and entertainment.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 9, the celebration will have live music, arts and crafts stations, light refreshments, and a visit from Santa at approximately 5:45 p.m. He will be taking photos with children for a time as well.
A snow zone will offer a chance for some frozen fun as well.
The event is set to wrap up by 7:30 p.m.
