In its 63rd iteration, the annual Los Gatos Children’s Christmas / Holidays Parade is coming to the West Valley city this Saturday, December 7.
The event, which will run rain or shine, starts at 11 a.m. and usually wraps up by 1:15 p.m. A number of street closures in Downtown Los Gatos start early in the day and will re-open by 3:30 p.m.
All floats will have a Christmas or Holiday theme, giving a fun festive vibe for the atmosphere.
Organizers note that parking will be tight in the surrounding area, and encourage spectators to carpool, walk or bicycle. A free bike valet will run from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Municipal Lot #1.
The parade begins at Almendra Ave., running down N Santa Cruz Ave. before turning left on W Main St. It finishes after crossing Hwy 17 and turning left onto Church St.
This is a joint presentation by the Los Gatos Lions, Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation, and Los Gatos High School.
