Community emergency response teams – or CERTs – will be conducting the second of their biannual citywide exercises in Mountain View this Saturday, November 16.
The response teams, made up of trained community members, will spread out across Mountain View to conduct damage assessments, mock search and rescue operations and medical treatments, and do neighborhood outreach.

Saturday’s exercises run from 1 to 5 p.m., with a debrief at the Mountain View Police / Fire Administration Building, 1000 Villa St., beginning at 4 p.m.
Mountain View’s Fire Department will visit some of the CERT posts through the day, providing suggestions and answering questions.
