The annual window-painting contest that adorns Downtown Los Altos businesses with Halloween decorations is returning to the city this week.
This year marks the 56th edition of the unique artistic event, which will feature student artists between 4th and 12th grades in the region.
While all spaces have been reserved, students will receive their window assignments on Tuesday, October 15, and can begin painting on Thursday, October 17. Painting continues Friday, October 18, and Saturday, October 19, up to 5 p.m. with judging on Sunday, October 20.
Using washable tempera paint, student artists will have some unique canvasses across the city to show off their creations and imaginations celebrating the Halloween season.
