Health fair coming soon to Cupertino

A local group of physicians and medical professionals is teaming up in coming weeks for a health fair in Cupertino, bringing a number of resources to local residents.

The event is hosted by the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPIO), which is affiliated with the non-profit American Association of Public Health Physicians.

This health fair will feature physicians from numerous specialties offering advice and answering questions. Additionally, screenings for diabetes, stroke, and vascular disease will be offered at no cost.

A cooking demonstration promoting healthy eating, and yoga and fitness instructors will round out the healthy living focus of the event. Attendees can also get a flu shot on site.

The fair is Sunday, October 13th at the Quinlan Community Center, 10185 N Stelling Rd. in Cupertino. It runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
