With the school year well underway, many high school juniors and seniors – and their parents – are likely thinking about the upcoming deadlines for college applications.
Applying to college can be a frustrating and time-intensive process for even the most organized applicants, filled with often-conflicting information from lots of sources about the best ways to get into your preferred school.
An event in Cupertino tomorrow night is hoping to make sense of this process, relieve some stress, and provide ideas for building out a pathway to application success.
The event is Tuesday, September 24, at Monta Vista High School’s Auditorium, 21850 McClellan Rd. It runs from 7 to 9 p.m.
This College Application Road Map event will cover how to select the right college list, strategies for writing and submitting applications, insight on the interview process, and more information on good resources for handling the endeavor.
Presented by the Monta Vista High Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), Syrous Parsay will be the featured speaker. Mr. Parsay is a mentor to numerous college students and corporate executives.
