At its annual Chefs of Compassion gala, where local chefs are ‘cooking for cause,’ West Valley Community Services will honor two members of Cupertino’s Rotary Club for their dedicated service to our community.
West Valley Community Services, which provides a continuum of basic needs, family support services and housing services including: information and referrals, food pantry, affordable housing, mobile food pantry financial assistance, family support and case management services, is holding its 9th iteration of this event. Three chefs will compete by making a dinner using only ingredients found in the organization’s food pantry.
This year’s chefs are Chef Christy Wolf (Bon Appetit Management Company), Chef Ray Tang (Presidio Social Club), and Chef Mattia Galiano (Ristorante Tre Monti). Additionally, the night features a silent auction and the honorary awards.
Cupertino Rotary’s Judy and Bill Wilson will be honored at the event, in addition to El Camino Health. Both are active in the Rotary, where Judy served as president in 2016-17.
West Valley Community Services Executive Director Josh Selo lauded the Wilsons for their years of service.
