New classrooms coming to two local high schools

Students at two local high schools are getting some new two-story classrooms this week, thanks to Measure AA construction bond funds.

Campbell Union High School District officials are cutting the ribbons at the new classrooms at Branham High School and Leigh High School this week. The facilities include state-of-the-art furniture and storage, according to the district, and will help prepare students for technology, science, and engineering fields.

“Moving into these new buildings marks a major milestone for us as a District as we continue to rapidly improve our facilities,” Superintendent Robert Bravo said in a press release.

Ribbon cutting ceremonies for the new buildings are set for later today and tomorrow. As the school year has already started, these classrooms are likely to be put to use quickly.
