College admissions exams insider’s event in Santa Clara

Among the most anxiety-inducing aspects of the college application process are the big tests – including the SATs and ACTs – that play a major role in admissions decisions.

To help West Valley students get an edge, Santa Clara City Library’s Youth Services has organized a presentation by Revolutionary Prep as an insider’s guide to AP, ACT, IB, SAT, and SAT Subject Tests.

In addition to overviews of the exams, the session will help students and their families build preparation plans, help in deciding between the SAT and ACT, and assist in determining when to take many of these tests as part of an acceptance and scholarship strategy.

The free event, is tonight – Monday, August 26 – beginning at 7 p.m. Santa Clara’s Central Park Library, 2635 Homestead Rd., is hosting the event, which was sold out as of publication time.
