Each July since 1979, Los Altos has hosted its annual Arts and Wine Festival – and 2019 will be no different.
The large, two-day event, showcasing craftspeople and artisans from across the Bay Area and the Western United States is set for Downtown Los Altos this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14.
The festival is free and runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at the corners of 1st and Main Streets in Los Altos. A concert Saturday evening follows festival activities and is from 6 to 8 p.m.
In addition to the many arts and crafts stalls, local wineries will be on hand to present some of the best wines the region has to offer. Craft beer sellers and various food vendors will round out the scene, providing something for every palette. A butterfly expo and numerous activities aimed at younger residents will keep the family entertained.
Downtown Los Altos, the local organization supporting the area’s businesses, runs the festival and claims it is the largest of its kind in the Bay Area.
