Wondering about the process to build an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) on your property and what hoops you have to jump through to get it done?
With housing affordability in the Bay Area only getting worse, and with few new affordable options on the horizon, many residents are turning to the idea of building ADUs on their property.
The rules around ADUs are changing rapidly and regulations vary by city jurisdiction, so it is particularly important to understand where to begin and the steps in the process. To help, Acton ADU and Ameriprise Financial are hosting an educational seminar on how to plan, design, navigate, and build an ADU.
ADUs are becoming increasingly popular, both as a way for homeowners to invest in their properties and to earn more income, and for renters looking for a more affordable living option.
The event, set for Saturday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., will be located in the Ameriprise Financial building in Campbell, 1919 S Bascom Ave.
Space is limited. For more information on this event or to RSVP, click here.
