The City of Cupertino is looking to turn some residents into neighborhood leaders.
The City is putting on two workshops on March 27 that will teach residents everything they need to know about the Block Leader program. Both sessions will be held in the Quinlan Community Center, 10185 N. Stelling Road, at 9 a.m and 7 p.m. Both sessions will be about 90 minutes long.
According to the City, the more connected a neighborhood is, the safer and happier it is. Residents who attend the workshops will how to get to know neighbors and organize activities so neighbors can more easily communicate.
“Block leaders receive updates on neighborhood development and activities and are vital links between City Hall and the neighborhoods,” the City says.
Space in the workshops is limited. To RSVP, send an email to communityrelations@cupertino.org.
