County Superintendent of Schools’ speech will be video-streamed live

Residents all across Santa Clara County can watch the State of the SCCOE Address live on the internet on Wednesday, Jan. 23.

Santa Clara County Office of Education Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Mary Ann Dewan, is scheduled to present the annual address. Dewan will give an “update on priorities and initiatives for the coming year as well as an opportunity to celebrate our collective achievements,” according to the Office of Education.

The speech will be given at 3 p.m. at Santa Clara County Office of Education headquarters, 1290 Ridder Park Drive in San Jose. Residents who cannot watch it live can watch an archived video after the event.

The Santa Clara County Office of Education provides instructional and business services to the 31 school districts of the County. The Office of Education serves students through special education programs, alternative schools, Head Start and State Preschool programs, migrant education, and Opportunity Youth Academy. The office also provides curriculum support, staff development, and technology support and training to teachers and staff in schools throughout the entire County, according to the Office of Education.
