Mobile food pantry is making stops at De Anza College

West Valley Community Services' Mobile Food Pantry is now making stops at De Anza College.

West Valley Community Services’ Mobile Food Pantry is now making stops at De Anza College.

Students can drop by the wheeled food pantry on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to learn about services and obtaining a week’s worth of groceries. The pantry parks by the student drop-off zone.

The pantry has free access to food including fresh produce, meat, dairy products, dry goods, and canned foods; case management including access to resources, referrals, and financial assistance; and information about services offered including bus passes, public benefits, and special programs.

The pantry also makes stops to clients living in Los Gatos, Saratoga, and West San Jose who may have barriers to transportation, according to the nonprofit.

West Valley Community Services is a Cupertino-based nonprofit that fights poverty by “providing critical food, housing, and support services to the low income and homeless individuals and families in West Valley communities,” according to the organization.

Communities served include: Cupertino, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga, and West San Jose.

West Valley Community Services is located at 10104 Vista Drive in Cupertino.
