West Valley Community Services’ Mobile Food Pantry is now making stops at De Anza College.
Students can drop by the wheeled food pantry on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to learn about services and obtaining a week’s worth of groceries. The pantry parks by the student drop-off zone.
The pantry has free access to food including fresh produce, meat, dairy products, dry goods, and canned foods; case management including access to resources, referrals, and financial assistance; and information about services offered including bus passes, public benefits, and special programs.
The pantry also makes stops to clients living in Los Gatos, Saratoga, and West San Jose who may have barriers to transportation, according to the nonprofit.
