Cupertino High School’s annual Tournament of Bands is ready to march through the streets of Cupertino again on Oct. 13.
This year marks the 48th event that sees local and out-of-state marching bands come to Cupertino High for a marching band competition. Bands will start on Miller Avenue, parade down Stevens Creek Boulevard past Main Street and then conclude on Finch Avenue.
The parade will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the field show will be from 6:15 to 9:30 p.m. at the high school campus.
The competition is judged by the Northern California Band Association and approximately 5,000 people are expected to attend in 2018.
