League of Women Voters to host candidate forums

The League of Women Voters Cupertino-Sunnyvale is hosting several upcoming candidate forums in preparation of the Nov. 6 General Election. 

The first candidate forum will be with the Cupertino City Council candidates on Sept. 24 at Cupertino Community Hall from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The second forum is with the Cupertino Union School District and Fremont Union High School District school board candidates on Oct. 1, also at Cupertino Community Hall from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization acting to influence public policy through education and advocacy. 

The purpose of the candidate forums is to encourage the community to meet the candidates and hear their responses to questions from the public.
