Nate Powell, the artist of the graphic novel series, March, will be speaking about his career, answering questions and signing books at Wow Cool® Alternative Comics, 21607B Stevens Creek Blvd, on August 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Nate Powell was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and began self-publishing at age 14. He is the first cartoonist ever to win the National Book Award. His graphic memoir trilogy, March, is about Congressman John Lewis and the civil rights movement.
Powell will be signing copies of his latest book, Come Again, which is One of Publishers Weekly’s “Top 10 Graphic Novels for Spring 2018!”
