Experts to speak at free autoimmune and brain diseases event

Two experts in wheat, gluten, brain disease and autoimmune diseases will be speaking at a free event called “Plugging the Leaky Gut – Autoimmune & Brain Diseases” at Quinlan Community Center, 10185 N. Stelling Road on August 1 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Dr. Tom O’Bryan, expert in the field of gluten-related disorders, and Chen Ben-Asher, a Functional Clinician and Board Certified Nutritionist, will be speaking at the event, covering topics such as the development of autoimmune diseases, a comprehensive approach to healing the gut, strategy to reduce inflammation, autoimmune progression with real food and nutritional supplements. 

Dr. O’Bryan and Ms. Ben-Asher will have their books available for purchase at the event from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The presentations will begin at 6 p.m., beginning with Ben-Asher and the Gluten-Autoimmune-Brain, followed by Dr. O’Bryan on “Plugging the Leaky Gut.”
