The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Academy will be hosting six nightly sessions and a final skills exercise in July for students interested in personal preparedness, organizing resources, basic medical operations, search and rescue and basic damage assessment.
The classes will be held at Cupertino Community Hall on the following dates:
July 9 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
July 11 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 16 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Quinlan Community Center)
July 18 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
July 23 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
July 25 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
July 28 – 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Students must attend all seven classes to receive a Certificate of Completion. The cost of training is $35 per person and refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
