Homestead High School will host Angela Alvarado, Santa Clara County district attorney and community prosecutor, to discuss Internet safety this Wednesday, May 2 at 6:45 p.m. in the cafeteria.
All parents and students are encouraged to attend the talk — although the discussion is not appropriate for younger children, organizers said.
Alvarado plans to cover topics related to the consequences and realities associated with using social media, and how to safeguard “digital” reputations in a fast-changing technology-driven society.
