Dr. Rosalind Grymes, deputy director of NASA Ames Partnerships Directorate, is coming to Cupertino Community Hall on April 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to speak about “the intention behind the design and construction of Sustainability Base,” a 50,000 square foot facility, which was completed in 2011 at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View.
Dr. Grymes will discuss the sustainability features of the building, the partnerships with federal entities, industry and academia that led to use of the facility as a ‘living laboratory.’ The talk will conclude with a question and answer session.
