Boudin Cupertino at 20681 Stevens Creek Blvd. is hosting a fundraiser on Feb. 21 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. benefiting Valkyrie Robotics.

Valkyrie Robotics is a new team of programmers from Cupertino that recently joined the FIRST organization. FIRST “helps spread STEM and robotics within the community,” according to the Valkyrie Robotics website. The team consists of 37 members, who teach high school students subjects ranging from engineering to advanced physics and encourage them to further spread STEM in the community.

Boudin Cupertino has pledged to donating 30 percent of the proceeds from the fundraiser to the team, helping Valkyrie Robotics pay for materials, tools, space, and travel expenses.

The restaurant asks that attendees bring their flier to the event, printed or displayed on a mobile device.
