A two-day Lunar New Year celebration will be held at Main Street Cupertino to welcome the Year of the Dog on Feb. 16th and 17th.
The event, hosted by Main Street Cupertino and property owner Sand Hill, will include food, cultural celebrations, stage performances, family activities, and more. “Lunar New Year is a unique opportunity for us to bring together Main Street Cupertino retailers, residents and visitors to celebrate a special tradition that is meaningful and joyful,” said Garrett Chan of Sand Hill Property Company.
The event will begin on Friday Feb. 16 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and concludes with an all day celebration on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The winner of Main Street’s Instagram contest, “Top Dog of Main Street Cupertino,” will be announced at the dog parade on Saturday morning. Friday’s events will include free games and a performance by Encore Music at 7 p.m., followed by a day full of family-friendly crafts and stage performers with a flower market and food vendors on Saturday.
Parking will be free and attendees are encouraged to participate in free raffles that will be announced throughout the day.
