RiTika Rose, life coach and author, is coming to Cupertino High School on Feb. 2 to discuss her book, T.A.G.G.E.D. U.R. IT!: Become the Leader of Your Own Life

Rose is set to discuss her book and her own experiences with the students at their career fair, “giving them a different picture of what a career can look like.”

Rose told The Mercury News, “I’m seeing the level of competition and stress they put on themselves to sort of reach certain goals, my message is of being authentic and being true to you. The minute you step out of that, that’s where stresses come into play.”

In April last year, a Student Wellness Survey studied stress and sleep deprivation among FUHSD students. The study led to a district decision to start classes later in the morning as a response to results showing 23.2 percent of FUHSD students responded to severe sleep deprivation, reporting that they only get six hours or less of sleep per night.

T.A.G.G.E.D. U.R. IT!: Become the Leader of Your Own Life has received positive reviews from Amazon readers, praising Rose’s message, her “unique way of engaging,” and praising her for being an inspiration and motivation for readers.

Rose has experience working in the medical field as a Rehab Program Manager and Licensed Occupational Therapist, as well as receiving degrees in occupational therapy and psychology from San Jose State, and is now working as an author and life coach. Her book journey’s through eight life mastery skills that “will help you step into your power and Become the Leader of your Own Life,” according to Amazon.
