The first of several public meetings for the proposed Junipero Serra Trail — a segment of The Loop trail project in Cupertino — is set to take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6 at Quinlan Community Center at 10185 N. Stelling Road in Cupertino.

The city say it is working with Callander Associates to prepare a feasability study for a proposed off-street bicycle and pedestrian trail that would run on the existing Junipero Serra channel just south of Interstate 280.

The trail will provide a connection between the Don Burnett Bicycle-Pedestrian Bridge and Vallco Parkway, according to the city.

The first meeting will introduce the project to the community, go over goals and objectives and begin the process of gathering community input.
