Local educators offer anti-bullying training

Prevent bullying in the classroom

Education professionals are encouraged to take part in the Bullying Prevention and Intervention Strategies Training hosted by the Santa Clara County Office of Education.

The training attempts to thoroughly define and explain bullying in its many forms and will aim to help teachers and staff execute prevention and intervention strategies as well as a resources to address bullying at schools. Research on the dynamics of bullying will be presented and will conclude with an action plan to be shared with the school to enforce bullying prevention.

The training is scheduled to be held at the Santa Clara County Office of Education, 1290 Ridder Park Drive, San Jose on November 30 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
